Kuala Lumpur was, unexpectedly, one of my mom’s highlights of our trip. She loved the Petronas Towers, and I have to agree - they are pretty spectacular! We walked around in the park below the towers taking in all the different angles we could find. We took a lot of photos, including some really fun reflection shots!
The grand Petronas finale was a visit to a skybar in a building opposite the towers. We dressed up the best we could and arrived before sunset to see the towers as the sky changed from daylight to dusk to nighttime, and we got exactly what we came for. The SkyBar turned out to be a fantastic way to enjoy the architectural delight that is the Petronas Towers. Located on the 33rd floor of the Traders Hotel it has a grand view overlooking the KLCC Park and Petronas Twin Towers. SkyBar is apparently Kuala Lumpur’s most award winning bar, and they do offer some pretty cool drinks coupled with the intoxicating views.
